How to convert your image
Drop an image onto the upload area or click to browse and select a file. Pick the output format from the four buttons. When you choose a lossy format such as JPG or WebP, a quality slider appears so you can balance file size against visual fidelity; lower quality means a smaller file. PNG and GIF are lossless and have no quality slider.
Click the Convert button to process the image. Compare the original and converted previews, check the new file size, and then click Download to save the converted image. The downloaded file keeps your original file name with the new extension.
Things worth knowing
When you convert an image that has transparency (such as a PNG) to JPG, the transparent areas are filled with a white background because JPG cannot store transparency. Convert to PNG or WebP instead if you need to keep transparent regions.
The conversion runs completely in your browser using the canvas API, so your images are never uploaded to any server and your files stay private on your device. There is no file count limit and the tool is free to use.
