Split a PDF Into Separate Pages
The PDF Splitter extracts pages from a document and saves each one as its own single-page PDF file. You can break an entire document into individual pages, or pull out only the specific pages you need. It is handy for separating a multi-page scan, sharing just one page of a contract, or breaking a large report into manageable pieces.
Each extracted page keeps its original formatting, fonts, and resolution because the pages are copied directly from the source document rather than re-rendered. The result is a clean, faithful single-page PDF for every page you select.
How to Split Your PDF
Drop a PDF onto the upload area or click to choose one, and the tool will show its total page count. Then pick a mode. "All Pages" exports every page as its own file. "Specific Pages" lets you type exactly which pages to extract.
In Specific Pages mode, enter page numbers and ranges separated by commas, such as 1,3,5-8. That example extracts pages 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, and 8. Click the download button and each selected page is saved as page_1.pdf, page_3.pdf, and so on. A short pause between downloads prevents your browser from blocking the batch.
Notes on Ranges and Downloads
Page numbers start at 1 and must fall within the document. Any number outside the page range is ignored, and duplicate or overlapping entries are automatically de-duplicated, so 1,1,2-3 simply produces pages 1, 2, and 3. The order of output always follows the natural page order.
Because each page downloads as a separate file, your browser may ask for permission to download multiple files the first time. Allow it so the whole batch can save. If you only need one page, use Specific Pages mode with a single number for the fastest result.
