See the time around the world at a glance
The World Clock shows the current local time in cities across the globe, updating live every second. It is built for remote teams, frequent travellers, and anyone with friends, family, or colleagues in other time zones. Each city card displays the live time, the date, and the UTC offset, so you can instantly tell whether it is morning, afternoon, or the middle of the night somewhere else.
To make scheduling easier, every card is colour coded. A green Business hours badge means it is roughly nine to five in that city, a yellow Awake badge covers the early morning and evening hours, and a red Night badge warns you that people there are likely asleep. The board starts with twelve major cities and you can add more from a list that spans the Americas, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific region.
How to use the clock and meeting planner
The default board includes cities such as New York, London, Paris, Dubai, Mumbai, Singapore, Tokyo, and Sydney. Use the Add City button to pick from additional locations including Los Angeles, Berlin, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Auckland, and many more, and hover over any card to reveal a remove button if you no longer need it.
The Meeting Time Planner makes it simple to find a slot that works for everyone. Enter a date and a local time, and the tool instantly shows what that moment will be in every city on your board, again with the same colour coding so you can spot which participants would be in business hours, awake, or asleep. This takes the guesswork out of scheduling calls across continents.
How time zones are calculated
All times are computed using your browser's built-in internationalisation support, which draws on the IANA time zone database. Because daylight saving time is handled automatically by that database, the offsets and times stay correct as regions move their clocks forward or back through the year. Everything runs locally in your browser, so no information about the cities you track or the meetings you plan is sent anywhere.
